In the spirit of a, “new year, and a BETTER me,” I thought I would share what my resolutions are for 2015.
1. Take more pictures/start a scrapbook
I have this awesome camera, and now a brand new lens for it, so there really is no excuse for me to not have more pictures! I really wanted to document the first year of our marriage, but when I started I soon realized that I had pretty much nothing to go on. This has to change, now! These are times in my life that I will never get back, and it would be a complete shame to miss out on capturing memories, when I have the equipment available to me.
2. Less f@*#ing Cursing!
There are days when I feel like every other word out of my mouth is a curse word! It is definitely not lady like, and I would really like to tone it down. I’m not going to say it will completely stop – I mean, I have to be realistic – but I would like to not have to consciously stop myself from doing it at work.
3. Make healthier choices
I want to get moving again! My metabolism is slowing down and I am definitely not the same fit girl that I was in my early twenties. It is time to start putting the effort into eating right and working out. When I was younger I never had to work at keeping a fit body, but the older I get, the more I am seeing that this is no longer the case.
4. Read more
This is pretty self-explanatory. It used to be that I was constantly reading SOMTHING! I loved it! I also find that my vocabulary is also much more extensive when I am reading more. It is something that I truly enjoy doing and need to be better at making more time for it in my life.
I know that I will probably come up with more as the year progresses, but I think that this is a great place to start. Everyone loves the new year because it makes you feel like you have a fresh start to a new/better you, myself included. These resolutions are going to help me have a better year than the last. And that is all you can really hope for in life; consistent improvement. =)
